Bern Velasco, Pastor of Young Adult Ministries

Bern (as he likes to be called) came to know Christ as a junior at University of Arizona and was discipled under Campus Crusade. His wife, Kat, came to know the Lord while in High School and was also involved with Campus Crusade in college. After graduating from University of Arizona with a major in Environmental Science and a minor in Chemistry, Bern went to work in his field of study. But soon, God began to tug on his heart, calling him to full-time Christian ministry. After a couple of years of marriage, Bern and Kat headed off for Dallas Theological Seminary where he received a Masters in Theology (Th.M.).

While completing his schooling, Bern ministered at his church beginning a young married’s ministry. He and Kat have ministered, discipled, and invited many into their home.

Bern and Kat have two children, Kenzi and Keves.
