Walking Well: Women's Retreat is coming your way! This overnight in Occidental will be a great chance to get away, recharge and connect with other women at Hessel Church!

WOMEN'S GROWTH GROUPS

Our women's groups are where we study God's Word together! Our groups meet from September through April.

Our '22-'23 groups are up and running, but join any time! We have different groups that meet at different times during the week.

The Book of Esther (A Flourish Bible Study)
Leaders: Lynda Jones and Kathy Atkinson

Tuesdays- 4:30PM

Santa Rosa Campus

Dig deeper into the book of Esther and learn how God is faithful to keep His promises and deliver His people. This story ultimately points to the gospel, revealing the need for a better deliverer, a better king, and a better kingdom than any found in this world.

The Gospel of John

(Joy of Living Bible Study)
Leader: Janie Phillips

Thursdays- 9:30AM

Sebastopol Campus

In John's Gospel we see that Jesus, having been a man, can speak to us with images we understand. We also see that Jesus, being God, can deliver miracles and fulfill any promise He makes. When He says that if we come to Him we will never thirst again, we know that He understands the reality of our thirst. We also know that if we believe, we will never thirst again.

The Gospel of John
Leader: Mary Cooney

Thursdays- 10AM

Sant Rosa Campus

This is a year-long advanced and inductive study of the book of John. An outline will be provided

John: An Eyewitness Account of the Son of God
Leader: Desiree Bunch

Thursdays- 6:30PM

Sebastopol Campus

What would it have been like to witness Christ’s life on earth? The apostle John wrote about Jesus’ earthly ministry from the perspective of one who was there. He saw Jesus teach, heal, pray, die, and live again. And he wanted to tell Christ’s story.

Parenting: 14 Gospel Principles that can Radically Change Your Family.
Leader: Kitty Jones

Fridays- 9:30AM

Sebastopol Campus

Along with accompanying Bible study written by Kitty Jones, Paul Tripp shows that we need more than the latest parenting strategy or list of techniques. Rather, we need the rescuing grace of God- grace that has the power to shape how we view everything we do as parents.

MENTORING

Do you feel the need for the listening ear of a friend who will love you... pray with you... offer some direction and encouragement?

Maybe you are new to the church and would like to connect with someone over coffee and conversation. Mentoring is two people talking about life together. Mentoring is for ANY woman at ANY stage of life. God never intended us to face life alone. Actually, each of us needs someone investing in us and someone in whom we are investing.

Email Kitty Jones to get connected!

ADRIA BISHOP

Adria has been serving in women’s ministries since 2009, starting as Events Coordinator and becoming Director of Women’s Ministries in 2014. She loves seeing people authentically connect over God’s Word and is looking forward to getting to spend more time in fellowship with our Hessel family this year and beyond. She hopes to continually build the bridge between the Church and our local community. Adria and her husband, Doug, have been married for 17 years and have three boys.
