Sermon Study Questions 10.12.25
Icebreaker Questions
1. What headline or topic most spikes your anxiety these days? How do you usually manage the “spiral” that follows?
2. When life feels overwhelming, what’s your first instinct — pray, plan, panic, or push through?
Diving Deeper
1. Read Numbers 13:27–33: Ten spies and two saw the same facts. What made their conclusions so different? How do focus and interpretation shape faith vs. fear?
2. Read Psalm 77:11–20: The psalmist looks back to God’s past faithfulness (“Your road led through the sea”). How does remembering reshape present anxiety?
3. Revelation 21:1–4: How does the promise of our future home (no more death, sorrow, crying, pain) anchor us now? What’s one practical way to live “from” that hope this week?
Life Application Questions
1. What’s feeding your focus—doomscrolling, constant news, anxious conversations, or God’s Word and worship? Name one input to reduce this week and one faith-input to increase (specific plan + time).
2. Who around you needs a Caleb/Joshua voice right now? What exactly will you say or do for them within 48 hours?
