1. When you think of Easter growing up, what stands out most—traditions, church, or something else? Has that changed over time?

2. Why do you think the resurrection of Jesus is such a central claim in Christianity?  What would change if it weren’t true?

Diving Deeper

1. Read Romans 4:25.  How does the resurrection act as God's 'receipt?'

2. Read Romans 6:4.  How does the resurrection change how we, as Christians, live our daily lives?

3. Read Acts 3:19, 16:31.  What must we do in response to the Gospel message?  Why are both parts of this response necessary?

Life Application Questions

1. Are you still trying to earn what Jesus already paid for?  What would it look like to stop “paying”?  How does the resurrection of Christ lead us to trust daily?

2. How can your life reflect hope in a world that feels hopeless?  Where can you live that out this week?
