Connect with God - Psalm 19:7-11 - January 8, 2026

If you read today’s passage slowwwwwly, with purpose, pausing after each verse… in contemplation and prayer, it becomes its own daily devotional. 

 The law of the LORD is perfect,

reviving the soul;

Lord, thank you for your law. When you say, “I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts,” it takes on new meaning, refreshing and invigorating my soul.

 The testimony of the LORD is sure,

making wise the simple;

Lord, your testimony is truth. It penetrates our heart … to everyone, no matter the wise or the simple. You make your plan of salvation evident to all who listen and seek your truth.

 The precepts of the LORD are right,

rejoicing the heart;

I will rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. Your instructions for life are always there before me. Your Spirit directs me in the path I should follow, in whatever dilemma life throws my way. 

 The commandment of the LORD is pure,

enlightening the eyes;

Lord, your commandment is pure, perfect, designed to protect my life. May it brighten my days, as I see its truth. May I love you with my whole heart, soul, mind, and strength.

 The fear of the LORD is clean,

enduring forever;

Lord, you are an awesome God. I humbly bow down to your majesty. Holy, Holy, Holy is my God. Hold me tight as I worship you forever.

 The rules of the LORD are true,

and righteous altogether.

Lord, may I trust in You when the Holy Spirit directs me in Your counsel. Your guidelines for life are righteous. May I be faithful to follow.

 More to be desired are they than gold,

even much fine gold;

sweeter also than honey

and drippings of the honeycomb.

 Amen.

Conéctate con Dios - Salmo 19:7-11 - 8 de enero de 2026

 Si lees el pasaje de hoy despacio, con determinación, haciendo una pausa después de cada versículo... en contemplación y oración, se convierte en tu devocional diario.

 La ley del Señor es perfecta,

que revive el alma;

Señor, gracias por tu ley. Cuando dices: «Pondré mis leyes en sus mentes y las escribiré en sus corazones», adquiere un nuevo significado, refrescando y vigorizando mi alma.

 El testimonio del Señor es fiel,

haciendo sabios a los sencillos;

Señor, tu testimonio es verdad. Penetra en nuestro corazón... a todos, sin importar si son sabios o sencillos. Haces evidente tu plan de salvación a todos los que escuchan y buscan tu verdad.

 Los preceptos del Señor son rectos,

y alegran el corazón.

Me regocijaré en el Señor siempre, repito, me regocijaré. Tus instrucciones para la vida están siempre ante mí. Tu Espíritu me guía por el camino que debo seguir, sea cual sea el dilema que la vida me presente.

 El mandamiento del Señor es puro,

e ilumina los ojos.

Señor, tu mandamiento es puro, perfecto, diseñado para proteger mi vida. Que ilumine mis días, al ver su verdad. Que te ame con todo mi corazón, alma, mente y fuerzas.

 El temor del Señor es limpio,

permanece para siempre;

Señor, eres un Dios maravilloso. Me inclino humildemente ante tu majestad. Santo, Santo, Santo es mi Dios. Sujétame con fuerza mientras te adoro para siempre.

 Las normas del Señor son verdaderas

y totalmente justas.

Señor, que pueda confiar en ti cuando el Espíritu Santo me guíe según tu consejo. Tus directrices para la vida son justas. Que pueda ser fiel en seguirlas.

 Son más deseables que el oro,

incluso que el oro más fino;

más dulces que la miel

y que el goteo del panal.

 Amén.
